The short version. We do not ask for your name, email or any account. We do not run analytics. Your game progress is saved only on your own device. The one thing that leaves your device is advertising data, through our advertising partner — and where consent is required, only if you agree. Questions: support@alulimgames.com.
1. Who we are
Alulim Games ("we", "us") develops and publishes mobile games, including Bills Due: Smash to Pay (the "Game"), distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can reach us at support@alulimgames.com.
2. What the Game stores on your device
Your progress — cash, upgrades, obligations, collection, bankruptcy history and your settings — is saved in a file inside the Game's own storage on your device. We cannot read it, it is not transmitted anywhere, and we do not back it up. Deleting the Game deletes it.
The Game also stores a small file recording how recently you were shown an advertisement, so it can avoid showing you too many. It contains no identifiers and never leaves your device.
3. Advertising
The Game shows advertisements, including optional rewarded advertisements you may choose to watch for an in-game bonus. Watching them is never required to play or to progress.
We use Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) as our advertising mediation partner, which may serve advertisements from other advertising networks. For advertising to work, these partners may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android);
- your IP address, and approximate location derived from it;
- device and technical information such as model, operating system version, language and time zone;
- information about advertisements shown to you, such as views, clicks and completions.
We do not receive your advertising identifier ourselves, and we do not combine advertising data with anything else. See the Unity/ironSource privacy policy.
4. Your choices
Open Settings → Privacy choices in the Game at any time to review or change your advertising choices. You can also reset or disable your advertising identifier in your device settings — on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
Before we serve personalised advertising we ask for your consent through a consent management platform. If you decline, the Game still works and you will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalised. You may withdraw or change that consent at any time through Settings → Privacy choices; withdrawal takes effect immediately for subsequent advertisement requests.
Our legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR are consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for personalised advertising and any associated profiling, and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for showing non-personalised advertising, preventing fraud and invalid traffic, and keeping the Game functioning.
If you are on iOS
Apple requires your permission before an app may use your device's advertising identifier for tracking. The Game asks through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, or never answer, the Game still works and still shows advertisements, but they will not be personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you are in California
We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing advertising identifiers with advertising partners for personalised advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out by declining tracking on iOS, by using Settings → Privacy choices in the Game, or by contacting us at support@alulimgames.com. We signal your opt-out to our advertising partner when you do. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of consumers under 16.
5. Children
The Game is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not configure our advertising partner for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us at support@alulimgames.com and we will act on it.
6. What we do not do
Stated explicitly, because a policy that lists only what is collected can read as evasive:
- We do not create accounts or ask you to sign in.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- We do not use an analytics or attribution vendor.
- We do not store your game progress on our servers — we do not operate servers for the Game.
- We do not offer in-app purchases.
- We do not access your photos, microphone, camera or precise location.
7. Retention
Because we do not collect personal information ourselves, we hold nothing to retain. Data collected by our advertising partner is retained according to their own policy, linked above.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal information about you, requests about advertising data are usually best directed to our advertising partner using their policy above — but write to us at support@alulimgames.com and we will help. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. International transfers
Our advertising partner may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards described in that partner's own privacy policy.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change what the Game collects we will update this policy and change the date above before the change ships. Material changes affecting advertising consent will be surfaced in the Game.
