How we handle your information when you play our games.

Last updated: 2026-09-05 · Effective: 2026-09-05

The short version. We do not ask for your name, email or an Alulim Games account, and we use no gameplay analytics or attribution SDK. Your game progress is saved only on your own device. What applies depends on where you got the Game: our iOS games on the Apple App Store are advertising-supported and may offer optional in-app purchases handled by Apple — buying anything removes the ads shown between runs — while our Amazon Appstore games carry no advertising and may offer optional in-app purchases handled by Amazon. Questions: support@alulimgames.com.

1. Who we are

Alulim Games ("we", "us") develops and publishes mobile games, distributed through the Apple App Store (iOS) and the Amazon Appstore. In this policy "the Game" means any Alulim Games title you have installed — today that includes Bills Due: Piggy Bank Smash, and it covers our future titles on the same terms. You can reach us at support@alulimgames.com.

Who controls your data. Alulim Games is the trading name of Atmane El Bouazzaoui, an independent game developer working as an individual in Morocco. There is no company, no staff and no third party acting on our behalf. For the purposes of the EU and UK GDPR, he is the data controller for the limited processing described below, and the contact point for any question or request is support@alulimgames.com. We publish an email rather than a postal address because we are one person working from home; the law asks for contact details that reach the controller, and this address does.

Representatives. We do not currently have a representative in the EU or the United Kingdom. Whether one is required of a developer of this size, whose only regular processing is advertising delivered by a third party, is a question we are still taking advice on rather than one we have quietly decided in our own favour. If one turns out to be required, we will appoint one and name them here.

2. What the Game stores on your device

Your progress — cash, upgrades, obligations, collection, bankruptcy history and your settings — is saved in a file inside the Game's own storage on your device. Alulim Games does not receive or upload a copy of that file, and we do not operate servers for the Game. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its data removes the copy on your device; a device backup or a transfer to a new device may still hold one, under the platform's own backup settings.

Where a Game offers purchases, that same file also holds the following — the identifier from the moment the store's purchasing service is reachable, whether or not you have ever bought anything, and the rest once you have:

  • on the Amazon Appstore only, an app-specific, obfuscated Amazon customer identifier — a different value for the same person in every app, which we use only to keep purchases with the account that paid for them. Apple provides apps with no equivalent identifier, so on iOS none is received or stored;
  • which entitlements you own;
  • store receipt identifiers for entitlements you own, and identifiers for receipts the store has since reported as cancelled, revoked or refunded, so a refunded purchase is not granted again.

This local record is not uploaded to Alulim Games. The store's own software does exchange receipt information with the store in order to deliver, restore and reconcile purchases. We keep the local copy so your purchases work offline, so they can be restored, so a refunded purchase is not granted again, and so signing in with a different store account does not inherit someone else's purchases.

Where a Game shows advertising, it also stores a small file recording how recently you were shown an advertisement, so it can avoid showing you too many. It contains no identifiers and never leaves your device.

3. Advertising

Our iOS games on the Apple App Store show advertisements between runs. We do not currently offer rewarded advertisements, and watching an advertisement is never required to play, to progress or to unlock anything. Buying any in-app purchase removes the advertisements shown between runs. Our games on the Amazon Appstore are ad-free and do not include the advertising SDK described below.

We use Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) as our advertising mediation partner, which may serve advertisements from other advertising networks. For advertising to work, these partners may collect and process:

  • your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS);
  • your IP address, and approximate location derived from it;
  • device and technical information such as model, operating system version, language and time zone;
  • information about advertisements shown to you, such as views, clicks and completions.

We do not receive your advertising identifier ourselves, and we do not combine advertising data with anything else. See the Unity/ironSource privacy policy.

4. In-app purchases

Some of our games offer optional permanent unlocks. They are one-off purchases, not subscriptions and not consumable currency, and a Game that offers them is fully playable without them. Our games on both the Amazon Appstore and the Apple App Store offer them.

Purchases are processed entirely by the store you downloaded the Game from — on the Amazon Appstore by Amazon through Amazon Appstore In-App Purchasing, and on the Apple App Store by Apple through the App Store. The store operates the purchase screen, takes the payment, keeps the transaction record, and — where a purchase is requested from a child account, whether an Amazon child profile or Apple's Ask to Buy — sends the request to a parent for approval, unlocking nothing until they answer. Amazon's handling of that data is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice.

We never see your payment details. Alulim Games does not receive your name, email address, card number or bank details. What the Game receives from Amazon is the app-specific identifier and the receipts described above, and what it sends back to Amazon is a receipt identifier confirming an item was delivered.

Amazon's software also makes your marketplace and country of residence available to the Game alongside that identifier. The Game does not read or store either of them.

5. Your choices

Where a Game shows advertising, open Settings → Privacy choices in it at any time to review or change your advertising choices. You can also reset or disable your advertising identifier under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. A Game that shows no advertising has no advertising privacy controls, because there is nothing for them to control; that is the case for our games on the Amazon Appstore.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

Where a Game shows advertising, before we serve personalised advertising we ask for your consent through a consent management platform. If you decline, the Game still works and you will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalised. You may withdraw or change that consent at any time through Settings → Privacy choices; withdrawal takes effect immediately for subsequent advertisement requests.

Our legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR are consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for personalised advertising and any associated profiling, and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for showing non-personalised advertising, preventing fraud and invalid traffic, and keeping the Game functioning; and, where a Game offers in-app purchases, performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) for keeping a record on your device of what you bought, so that the thing you paid for stays unlocked and can be restored.

If you are on iOS

Apple requires your permission before an app may use your device's advertising identifier for tracking. The Game asks through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, or never answer, the Game still works and still shows advertisements, but they will not be personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

If you are in California

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing advertising identifiers with advertising partners for personalised advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out by declining tracking on iOS, by using Settings → Privacy choices in the Game, or by contacting us at support@alulimgames.com. We signal your opt-out to our advertising partner when you do. Our games state an audience of 13 and over. We do not sell or share the personal information of players we know to be under 16.

6. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Its stated audience begins at 13. Where a Game shows advertising we do not configure our advertising partner for child-directed treatment, which is consistent with that audience. Our games on the Amazon Appstore carry no advertising at all. Where Amazon routes a purchase from a child profile to a parent for approval, that approval is handled by Amazon, not by us. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us at support@alulimgames.com and we will act on it.

7. What we do not do

Stated explicitly, because a policy that lists only what is collected can read as evasive:

  • We do not create accounts or ask you to sign in.
  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
  • We do not use a gameplay analytics or attribution vendor. In games that show advertising, our advertising partner processes advertising data as described in section 3.
  • We do not store your game progress on our servers — we do not operate servers for the Game.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. Our games on the Amazon Appstore carry no advertising at all.
  • We do not access your photos, microphone, camera or precise location.

8. Retention

We operate no servers for the Game, so there is no copy of your data with us to retain. The purchase records described in section 2 stay in the Game's own storage on your device for as long as they are needed to keep your entitlements working and to stop a refunded purchase being granted again; clearing the Game's data or uninstalling it removes them from the device. Apple and Amazon each separately keep their own record of your account and transactions under their own policies, for purchases made on their stores; we never receive your payment details and cannot delete those records for you. Data collected by our advertising partner, in games that show advertising, is retained under theirs.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal information about you, requests about advertising data are usually best directed to our advertising partner using their policy above — but write to us at support@alulimgames.com and we will help. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. International transfers

Our advertising partner may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards described in that partner's own privacy policy.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what the Game collects we will update this policy and change the date above before the change ships. Material changes affecting advertising consent will be surfaced in the Game.
